Engine and Front Wheel
The engine mount supplied by BushCaddy was designed for a Rotax 912 engine however I had already decided to install the Jabiru 3300cc 6-cylinder 4-stroke horizontally opposed air cooled engine 120hp aircraft engine which means a new engine mount had to be manufactured and fitted to the firewall.
The original front wheel is far too rigid for runways in Australia so it has been replaced with a front falk assembly from Lightwing Australia and has a suspension system to reduce the impact on the runway. Another feature is that the pedals can steer the front wheel.
