Nelson to Kaikoura
Day 17 (18/06/2012): Today we take the short 270Km (4hr) journey from Nelson to Kaikoura via Picton. If the weather is good the most scenic route is the Queen Charlotte Drive that twists and winds its way through the Marlborough Sounds. This scenic diversion could add considerable time to the journey so decisions will have to be made along the way as to which towns we will visit, stop and sightsee.

Kaikoura TOP 10 Holiday Park
While all the facilities are there at Kaikoura Top 10 Holiday Park, after a full day on the road I think we will sleep tight tonight, might even get take away.
